Xinghai Square is located in Shahekou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China. It is an open-air plaza in the southwest of Dalian, a major construction project to commemorate the return of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to China, and one of the landmark buildings in Dalian. There are three circular roads in the middle of the upper floor of the square, which divides the square into three landscape levels; the long axis of the square has two parallel roads running through the square, and there are two other X-shaped roads intersecting with it, divided into six parts. The Xinghai Square landscape is divided into four parts: Xinghai Square, Fountain Scenic Area, Centennial City Carving Square and Central Lawn. Xinghai Square uses a curved pattern, which is rounded in an elliptical road network. The central star square is a circular square with three steps on the ground. The layout of the central part draws on the design concept of the temple in Beijing. 999 pieces of Sichuan red marble pavement, the center of the red marble is decorated with a large yellow five-pointed star, forming a kind of star-sea relationship with the Yellow Sea on the north side of Xinghai Square, which symbolizes the place where it is located. Zhongshan Square is located in Zhongshan District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, also known as Zhongshan Music Square. It is the largest circular plaza in the Northeast, and the beautiful work of Dalian's city planning has laid the urban layout of Dalian in the period of Russia and Japan. Bangchui Island is located in the eastern section of Binhai Road, Dalian, about 5 kilometers southeast of Dalian. It is a scenic spot with mountains, sea, island and beach as the main landscape.
