For overseas participants, we strongly encourage you to buy your air tickets directly from your origin cities to Nanjing Lukou International Airport (NKG) except that your flight destination is Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) .

CSCWD 2006 will set up reception stands at the Nanjing Lukou International Airport and the Nanjing Railway Station on May 2, 2006 . If you arrive in Nanjing by train or by air on May 2, please go to the CSCWD 2006 reception stands.

From Nanjing Lukou International Airport to Nanjing city it costs you RMB25 yuan by express bus or about RMB140 yuan by taxi.  

If your flights arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport , you can have two options to Nanjing :

1)     By Bus: There are four direct coaches (run by Nanjing Bailu transportation company 南京白鹭客运公司) from Shanghai Pudong International airport to Nanjing Coach Station, leaving the airport at 11:20am, 14:20 , 16:40 or 18:40 respectively. It takes about 4.5-5 hours from the airport to Nanjing. After you get off the bus, you may take a taxi to Liuyuan Hotel (榴园宾馆) for about RMB15 yuan or Jinling Hotel (金陵饭店) for about RMB20 yuan.

2)      By Train: You can take No. 5 express bus (机场五线) or taxi from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Shanghai Train Station, RBM18 by the bus about 1.5 hours ride, about RMB180 by Taxi about 1.5 hours ride. You do not need an advance booking. You go to the ticket office to buy train tickets directly after your arrival.  Train ticket prices are from about RMB50 yuan to about RMB150 yuan depending on your ticket type. Attention: Please get off the train at the Nanjing Railway Station (南京火车站) instead of Western Nanjing Railway Station (南京西站). Then you can meet our receptionists on May 2, 2005 or directly take a taxi to Liuyuan Hotel (榴园宾馆) for about RMB15 yuan or to Nanjing Jinling Hotel (金陵饭店) for about RMB20 yuan.
