Instructions for Final Manuscripts
1.

Read carefully the requirements of final manuscripts for CSCWD 2001 Proceedings:

Paper should be written in English with its length limited to 6 pages, including references and Illustrations.  
At least one author of each accepted paper should register to the conference to guarantee the publication of the paper.
It is strongly suggested to use the MS Word template for final manuscript preparation (download and open the template in MS Word and copy your text and illustrations into the template). Please DON'T remove the page numbers (even each paper starts by number 1).
Follow the Author Guidelines to prepare and form the final manuscripts.
Final manuscripts can be sent to two FTP sites (same as those for paper submissions - see below) with an e-mail notice to weiming.shen@nrc.ca, or by e-mails to weiming.shen@nrc.ca.
Only electronic submissions in PDF or Postscript format or MS Word are accepted.
Please complete and sign the Copyright Form, and send it together with your Registration Form to the conference organizer. A paper could not be included in the Conference Proceedings without a completed and signed Copyright Form.

 

 

Instructions for Paper Submissions

Paper should be written in English with its length limited to 6 pages (IEEE Proceedings format) (please don't follow the guideline on Copyright Transfer), including references and Illustrations.  
At least one author of each accepted paper should register for the conference to guarantee the publication of the paper.
Electronic submissions in PDF or Postscript format are strongly recommended. If electronic submission in PDF or Postscript format is not possible for any reason, please contact Dr. Weiming Shen (see contact page for detailed contact information) as early as possible.

Follow the following steps for electronic paper submission:

Step 1: FTP your paper(s) in PDF or Postscript to one of the following FTP sites (If you have any difficulty to access these FTP sites, please submit your paper(s) by e-mail to weiming.shen@nrc.ca):
Site 1:
- IP address: 206.248.115.115
- Username: anonymous
- Password: your e-mail address
- Directory: "upload"
Site 2:
- IP address: 207.210.44.232
- Username: ftp
- Password: your e-mail address
- Directory: "cscwd"
- Instructions for uploading papers to site 2:
>ftp 207.210.44.232
User: ftp
Password: your e-mail address
ftp>cd cscwd
ftp>bin
ftp>put your_file_name (*.ps or *.pdf)
ftp>bye
 
Step 2: Notify the Program Committee Chairs by sending an e-mail to cscwd2001@cscwid.org or weiming.shen@nrc.ca with following information:
- Title of the paper
- Names, affiliations and e-mail addresses of all authors
- Name and detailed contact information of the corresponding author
- Name of the potential presenter when the paper is accepted
- Up to 6 keywords (for review purpose)
- Date of submission by FTP
- FTP site IP address and file name used for submission
 
Step 3: If you don't receive a confirmation e-mail in two days after submission, please contact Dr. Weiming Shen by e-mail. A paper number will be assigned to each submission in the confirmation e-mail. Please use this number in all your follow-up e-mails/letters for any inquiry or updates on the related paper.
