SS1: Computer supportive cooperative work on IP analytics and management

Description/Abstract With overwhelming numbers of intellectual properties (IP), e.g., patents, trademarks, designs, inventions, literary and artistic works, and plant varieties, being applied, managed, and protected through global IP systems, public and private institutions and their cooperating partners require intelligent computer supportive tools to enable cooperative IP management and analyses for strategic R&D planning and activities. This session calls for research papers focusing on advanced theories, methodologies, and intelligent systems for enabling the cooperative works on IP management and analytics, and strategic responses to IP policy changes. Advanced analytical topics, such as, but not limited to, IP innovation trend analysis, patent knowledge graphic visualization, technology mining for given domains, IP infringement analysis, system dynamics analysis for IP innovation, IP risk assessment, IP based innovation indices and rankings analysis, advanced methods for IP protection, patent document summary, digital transformation for systematic IP lifecycle management, and strategic IP policy making. |
