Paper Submission

Instructions for Paper Submissions
1.

Read carefully the requirements for paper submission below:

bulletPaper should be written in English with its length limited to 6 pages (IEEE Proceedings format) (please don't follow the guideline on Copyright Transfer), including references and Illustrations.  
bulletAt least one author of each accepted paper should register for the conference to guarantee the publication of the paper.
bulletElectronic submissions in PDF or Postscript format are strongly recommended. If electronic submission in PDF or Postscript format is not possible for any reason, please contact Prof. Jano de Souza (see contact page for detailed contact information) as early as possible.

Follow the following steps for electronic paper submission:

Step 1:

Submit your paper(s) in PDF or Postscript to the following HTTP site: CLICK HERE

Step 2:

Notify the Program Committee Chairs by sending an e-mail to cscwd2002@cos.ufrj.br  with the following information:

  1. Title of the paper
  2. Names, affiliations and e-mail addresses of all authors
  3. Name and detailed contact information of the corresponding author
  4. Name of the potential presenter when the paper is accepted
  5. Up to 6 keywords (for review purpose)
  6. Date of submission by HTTP

Step 3:

If your submission is successful, you should receive THREE acknowledgements. First, one through a WWW page, immediately after you press submit. The second one, is an email acknowledging the receipt of your submission. Finally, a third email will acknowledge that your paper prints correctly. ONLY AFTER this last email, confirming that your paper prints OK, your submission is considered complete.

In case you do not receive any of the above mentioned emails, or you have any kind of problems submitting your papers, please, contact cscwd2002@cos.ufrj.br

In case you are not able to submit the paper via the HTTP site, submit the paper directly to Prof. Jano Moreira de Souza by e-mail to cscwd2002@cos.ufrj.br. 

In that case, If you don't receive a confirmation e-mail in two days after submission, please contact Prof. Jano Moreira de Souza by e-mail. A paper number will be assigned to each submission in the confirmation e-mail. Please use this number in all your follow-up e-mails/letters for any inquiry or updates on the related paper.
